PROJECT DATE: MARCH 2026
Appliance issue: When using burners, all burners keep ticking even after flame.
Resolution: Burned food debris and dirty igniters stop the igniters from sending signal to spark module box, telling it that there’s a flame present.
Cove Dishwasher
PROJECT DATE: MARCH 2026
Appliance issue: x2 Cove Dishwashers, 2nd Dishwasher back fills often when not in use.
Resolution: Installers did not properly connect drain lines, so when second Dishwasher drains, back fills into Dishwasher. Recommended replacing drain line 3-way.
Frymaster Deep Fryer
PROJECT DATE: JANUARY 2026
Appliance issue: Not getting hot enough, only 2 out of 3 flames igniting.
Resolution: Gas valve was not opening up for center gas line. Replaced control board controlling spark igniter and voltage to open up gas valve.
Sub-Zero Refrigerator
PROJECT DATE: SEPTEMBER 2025
Appliance issue: Ice maker not producing ice and moldy gaskets.
Resolution: Ice maker motor arm was not turning, telling the refrigerator to not dispense water and kick out ice. Replaced ice maker and door gaskets.
Garland Range
PROJECT DATE: MAY 2024
Appliance issue: Flame in oven not staying on when manually lit.
Resolution: Oven uses always on manual flame, replaced thermocouple that sends signal to gas valve to stay open.
Speed Queen Dryer
PROJECT DATE: MARCH 2024
Appliance issue: Heating element stays on during whole cycle and doesn’t turn off when it’s not in use.
Resolution: Checked all thermostats and thermo cut offs. No grounding on the heating element. No visible damage to control board.
Beko Washing Machine
PROJECT DATE: NOVEMBER 2023
Appliance issue: Door locked and won’t open.
Resolution: Some appliances have emergency door switches, activated it, and replaced door lock mechanism.
LG Washing Machine
PROJECT DATE: AUGUST 2023
Appliance issue: Newer machine is not draining out water.
Resolution: Vacuumed all drain lines, checked filter, no clogging. Replaced Drain pump. Possible clothing or objects detached drain pump propeller.
Summit Refrigerator
PROJECT DATE: MAY 2023
Appliance issue: Front panel lights out, no lights inside. Refrigerator trips breaker.
Resolution: Checked outlet, moved to different outlet. Checked compressor and wiring. Pinched wire harness going to LEDs. Installed new wire harness.
Miele Dishwasher
PROJECT DATE: DECEMBER 2022
Appliance issue: Cycle doesn’t start when door closed.
Resolution: Door lock was not detecting latch. Replaced door lock, adjusted latch, adjusted dishwasher angle. Over time, dishwashers can shuffle, lots of wear on door latch.
Blomberg Washing Machine
PROJECT DATE: March 2022
Appliance issue: Washing Machine not starting.
Resolution: Certain European brands use replaceable carbon brushes for their motors. As motor is used more, carbon is shaved down until no longer circulating current to the motor.
Bosch Oven
PROJECT DATE: March 2022
Appliance issue: Cooking settings change automatically mid-cooking.
Resolution: Control panel controlling which keys were pressed stuck/damaged. Replaced the panel behind the membrane.
Uline Mini Refrigerator
PROJECT DATE: FEBRUARY 2022
Appliance issue: Frost and ice build-up in freezer section.
Resolution: Defrosted to remove all frost and ice build-up. Replaced thermostat to freezer section and lowered temperature.
Smeg Refrigerator
PROJECT DATE: SEPTEMBER 2021
Appliance issue: During heat wave freezer started making noise. Sound stops when opening freezer door.
Resolution: Freezer evaporator fan damaged from age and overworking. Replaced and freezer cooling fine and no longer sound.
Samsung Dryer
PROJECT DATE: April 2021
Appliance issue: Squeaking noise whenever Dryer drum turns on and starts spinning.
Resolution: Inspected the inside of the dryer. Idler pulley shaft’s manufacturer grease burned underneath wheel, replaced both the pulley and wheel, no more sound.
GE Microwave
PROJECT DATE: April 2021
Appliance issue: Microwave turned on whenever the door opened up.
Resolution: The microwave is activated by door switches that are triggered whenever the door is either open or closed. Two of the three microswitches were bad, tested and replaced them.
GE Refrigerator
PROJECT DATE: February 2021
Appliance issue: Newer refrigerator stopped cooling, both refrigerator and freezer side. Customer has removed all food and stored elsewhere.
Resolution: Checked inside temperature, interior fans running but no cooling. Checked control board and compressor. Compressor not turning on, replaced relay switch, now compressor starts and cools refrigerator.
Sub-Zero Refrigerator
PROJECT DATE: February 2021
Appliance issue: Refrigerator and Freezer door seal severely damaged, doors not closing, refrigerator cooling issues.
Resolution: Unscrewed door seal, removed old seal, installed new seal and secured under metal clamps. Checked all sides and made sure door properly closes.
Miele Dishwasher
PROJECT DATE: November 2020
Appliance issue: Dishwasher drain pump running but no water is being drained out. Puddle inside machine.
Resolution: Vacuumed out drain lines, ran cycle but still water is not being pumped out. Checked drain stopper ball, and used manufacturer supplied tool to release propeller but still no draining, replaced drain pump and works fine now.
GE Dishwasher
PROJECT DATE: April 2020
Appliance issue: Customer tried replacing leaking dishwasher but could not find one exact size. Water was leaking down to lower basement floor.
Resolution: Ran wash and drain cycle. Noticed water leaking from drain line to drain pump. Disconnected, was long tear in rubber drain line. Replaced drain line.
Frigidaire Washing Machine
PROJECT DATE: April 2020
Appliance issue: Older model 15+ years, won’t spin but will fill up with water and will drain.
Resolution: Checked motor for continuity, no issues with motor. Front load machine: Door lock light came on when cycle started, checked control board, saw physical damage, replaced, spins fine.
KitchenAid Stove
PROJECT DATE: DECEMBER 2019
Appliance issue: Customer originally had appliance repair company diagnose stove, but did not show up when scheduled to install and did not purchase part needed to repair.
Resolution: We agreed with previous company's diagnosis, bought the part and installed it promptly.
LG Washing Machine
PROJECT DATE: SEPTEMBER 2019
Appliance issue: Drum would overfill with water and the timer would freeze after around 15 mins., cycle would continue until machine turned off.
Resolution: Replaced drum speed sensor and water level sensor. This allowed the washer to recognize how fast to turn the drum and how much water was in the drum.
